Start with your order data
A few columns connect the whole invoice.
Your file supplies the values; your template controls where they appear. Use the order number as the grouping identifier and connect the customer and product fields in the editor.

Shopify puts additional products on separate rows and leaves some order-level cells blank. Keep an order number on every related row. If you fill down customer or summary values, do so only within that order.

Keep every product with its order.
Select your order-number column as the identifier, then add a linked table for the product rows. Two products from order #1042 belong on one invoice; the next order starts another document.
Keep order totals in separate fields instead of adding the same total for each product row. If your layout needs a line-total column, calculate and review it in your spreadsheet before importing. Check discounts, shipping, refunds, and the currency against your source records.

LinkoPDF works with the file you upload. Changes in your store require a fresh export, so keep a dated copy of the source file alongside the finished invoices.
Frequently asked questions
Does LinkoPDF connect directly to my Shopify store?
No. This workflow uses a CSV you export from Shopify and upload to LinkoPDF. It does not require a Shopify app installation or store credentials, and it does not sync orders automatically.
Can I put multiple products on one invoice?
Yes. Keep the same order number on all related rows, select that column as the identifier in LinkoPDF, and connect a line-item table. Generate a small batch first to check grouping and totals.
Can I use my own invoice design?
Yes. Customize a starter layout or import a one-page PDF, then connect its fields to your spreadsheet columns. Save the template and reuse it with future files that have the same headers.
Will LinkoPDF email invoices to my customers?
No. You download the generated PDFs and share them through your own delivery workflow. This page does not set up automatic emails or update orders in Shopify.
