LinkoPDF is a spreadsheet-to-PDF template and document-generation service operated by Luis E. Jiménez from the Dominican Republic. This Privacy Policy explains what information LinkoPDF collects, how it is used, when it is shared, and the choices available to you when you use linkopdf.com and its related tools (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register or sign in, we may collect your name, email address, authentication provider, account identifier, and information needed to maintain your account and subscription status.
Documents and templates. The Service processes the spreadsheets, CSV files, PDF files, template layouts, mapped fields, and other content you choose to provide. Some workflows process files in your browser. When a feature requires server processing or you save a template to your account, the information needed to provide that feature is transmitted to our infrastructure or service providers.
Billing information. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. LinkoPDF may receive transaction details such as your customer email, order identifier, purchased plan, subscription status, billing country, and payment status. LinkoPDF does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
Usage and device information. We may collect pages visited, actions taken in the Service, referral source, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, error logs, and timestamps. We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, preserve your work and preferences, measure site performance, and operate Service limits.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure the Service; authenticate users; save templates and settings; generate requested documents; manage subscriptions and access rights; enforce free-plan limits; prevent fraud and abuse; respond to support requests; diagnose errors; understand product usage; improve LinkoPDF; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Uploaded Files and Generated Documents
You remain responsible for the files and personal information you upload. Do not upload information you are not authorized to use. LinkoPDF does not sell uploaded content or use it to advertise third-party products. Files and template data are retained only as needed to provide the feature you requested, maintain content you intentionally save to your account, protect the Service, or satisfy legal obligations.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Abuse Prevention
LinkoPDF uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, file handoff, saved work, preferences, and free-plan enforcement. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Google advertising or measurement tools to understand visits and campaign performance. These providers may process device, usage, and network information under their own privacy terms.
To enforce free-export limits and reduce repeated use through newly created accounts, LinkoPDF may process an account identifier, an anonymous device cookie, browser and device characteristics, and the requesting IP address. Anti-abuse identifiers are transformed into keyed cryptographic hashes before storage. LinkoPDF stores those hashes and export metadata rather than the raw browser fingerprint or raw IP address for this purpose.
5. Service Providers and Disclosure
We disclose information only as needed to operate LinkoPDF, process payments, provide hosting and authentication, measure performance, prevent abuse, comply with law, protect users or the Service, or complete a business transfer. Current service providers include Supabase for authentication and application data, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Lemon Squeezy for checkout and subscription billing, and Google for advertising and measurement. We do not sell personal information.
6. Data Retention
Account and saved-template information is generally retained while your account remains active. Usage, security, billing-reference, and support records may be retained for a reasonable period when needed for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance. Browser-stored files and work can be removed by clearing the relevant site data in your browser. You may delete saved templates through the Service where that option is available.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, and disclosure. No Internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure, so LinkoPDF cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. You may also object to or request restriction of certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or request a portable copy when applicable. These rights depend on your location and may be subject to legal exceptions. To make a request, email ingl.jimenez28@gmail.com from the address associated with your LinkoPDF account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
9. International Processing
LinkoPDF and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. We use service providers and safeguards appropriate to the information and processing involved.
10. Children’s Privacy
LinkoPDF is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.
